St Patrick's Catholic Parish in Mortlake is a parish located in the Inner West of Sydney which includes the suburbs of Mortlake, Breakfast Point, Cabarita and the North Western area of Concord. The parish has grown significantly in recent years with the developments of Breakfast Point and Cape Cabarita providing an increasing number of parishioners. We are blessed to have Monsignor John Usher pp providing leadership and support to the parish and we have many active groups and ministries in the parish, details of which are elsewhere on this website.

We focus on being a very welcoming Catholic community and look forward to making any visitors and new residents feel at home here and to become part of our parish. New parishioners are invited to provide their details in the register of new parishioners in the church foyer and they will then receive contact from our Pastoral Care Group providing details of parish information and activities.

The aims of our parish community are summarised in the Parish Prayer which was composed by parishioners during Australia's Bicentennial Year in 1988:

LORD Jesus, send your Holy Spirit on your community of St Patrick's Parish Mortlake.
HELP us to hear Your Word and to know your love for all peoples.
TEACH us your will for us. May we be alive to it – and celebrate it!
GIVE us the wisdom to be open to Your plan, and respond to the needs of all whom we meet.
MAKE us courageous to follow Your plan for us, by an active ministry in our community, and through time spent in prayer and contemplation.
May our community be a witness to the world, ready to share Your care for peoples of all nations.
We make this prayer through Christ, Our Lord.

St Patrick, pray for us.
