Come and take the opportunity to participate in our Parish Advent series to be held on Monday’s the 2nd, 9th, 16th December in the parish hall at 7:30pm

It’s a beautiful way to prepare for Christmas and to deepen our sense of connection within the parish. As we meet on the 3 December Monday nights prior to Christmas we can listen slowly and carefully to the coming Sunday gospel. This Advent series uses a Lectio Divina way of prayerfully reading the scripture text. There is time for prayer, listening to the reading, silence, being still and quiet, reflection, and a little sharing and discussion.

Lectio Divina is sacred reading and has been around for a long time. It is about listening with the heart and being open to the transforming power of God’s Word.

Come to the Parish hall at 7:30 on Mondays 2nd, 9th and 16th December.
