A wonderful evening was had by all parishioners at the annual Parish dinner, this year, held for the first time at the Canada Bay Club Auditorium. Function managers and staff pleasantly delivered a delicious 3 course meal including excellent wines and beverages.

Together with St Pat’s Parish Priest, Monsignor John Usher, the VIP guests included Fr Tom Stevens, St Mary’s Liverpool, Fr Brian Egan, St Ambrose Concord West, Fr Paul Crowley, St Mary’s Concord, Canada Bay Mayor Helen McCafferey, John Sidoti Member for Drummoyne, Mandy Westgate, Principal St Patricks Primary School. Following this presentation and continuing with the celebration, a surprise guest artist was introduced, that being Joseph Fimmano. Joseph’s brilliant show business career was highlighted and he received due applause from the appreciative audience. In addition many luxurious prizes were won by so many in the fabulous raffle. Many thanks to our “Parish ” photographer, Denise Norman. Photos can be purchased with a gold coin. After dessert and coffee was served while guests continued to enjoy the remainder of the evening.

Thanks to all who were able to attend this special annual event. It was a wonderful occasion for us all. We extend our heart-felt gratitude to Anne Manenti and her wonderful team for bringing us together to celebrate our community life and common faith. The social Ministry of our Parish is vital. It is a ministry which enable us to share our common goals as Catholics and acknowledge the importance of solidarity and friendship as people united in faith, hope and justice.
