PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS: NEEDED IN MORTLAKE!

Are you game to cross Gale Street on foot?

Every day, many people cross Gale Street, Adams Street and Adams Lane in Mortlake to go to school, to work, to St Patrick’s Church, and visit shops and other services in the area. The increased population growth of the Mortlake Peninsula has resulted in a significant increase in vehicle traffic.

Gale Street Mortlake is one of the main access roads. The volume of traffic and the speed cars and trucks travel at make crossing the road hazardous. Safe pedestrian crossings will encourage students and parents to walk to school, parishioners to walk to church and the wider community to enjoy the neighbourhood and visit the shops safely on foot.

Several Pedestrian Crossings are needed especially one in  Gale St at St Patrick’s Church.

Please support this petition to make it safe for our pedestrians.
