I don’t know about you, but prayer for me, can at times, be extremely difficult. It’s difficult to pray to a God that we cannot physically see, who we cannot audibly hear. The Gospel today recognises this fact. We should each take some comfort in that acknowledgment. Jesus tells his disciples to pray continually and to never lose heart.

Often the times of greatest challenge and hardship produce the most satisfying results. Let us continue to encourage one another through our times of celebration and hardship alike. May we all maintain the resolve to keep going, knowing that we are not alone. We have our loving God and we have each other in this St. Pat’s community. United and faith filled, nothing can hinder us.
