Become Involved –
Volunteering Opportunities at St Pat’s

At St Patrick’s, we pride ourselves on our strong sense of Community and Social Justice. With a wide array of Volunteer groups who actively seek to care for, support and help our local community there are many opportunities for you to become involved.
This booklet introduces you to each group and their focus including Music; Children’s Liturgy, Faith Education; Pastoral Care; Social Outreach to the elderly, sick and house bound; helping with Communications and IT, to gardening and parish maintenance. We invite you to read the following pages and find just the right group for you. Your contribution, no matter how small, continues to make St Patrick’s more than just a Church, it’s a Community.
Peace and Joy,
 Fr. Tom Stevens

Children’s Liturgy

Offers the opportunity for the little people of our community to come and hear the Word of God from a child’s perspective. The Gospel is delivered by adults from our Parish using differing activities; drama, music, craft, art, worksheets and reinforced with gentle discussion.  The Children’s Liturgy Team also coordinates the Family Masses and the Christmas Nativity Mass. If you would like to use your gifts to offer the children a great variety of ways to learn and love Jesus each week we invite you to become one of our leaders. Commitment is on a roster basis.
